In an economy recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, retailers are struggling to hire. A survey of more than 50 major U.S. retailers conducted by Korn Ferry found that 94% were having difficulty filling vacant roles, and convenience retailers like Wawa, Sheetz, and more have begun offering a signing bonus to new employees to sweeten the deal.
