The seventh edition of Delivering On Restaurant Rewards, a PYMNTS and Paytronix collaboration, explores the ways in which age and vaccination status impact consumers’ food ordering habits. We surveyed a census-balanced panel of 1,984 United States consumers about their vaccination statuses and how they purchase restaurant orders to gain a clearer picture of how mass vaccinations might shape the future of the restaurant industry.
INSIDE THE APRIL STUDY:
- 92%: Share of vaccinated restaurant customers who plan to keep ordering their food online after the pandemic has subsided.
- 26%: Portion of unvaccinated restaurant customers who plan to order on-site more often after they are inoculated.
- 32%: Share of vaccinated restaurant customers who would still spend more on food orders if they could pay online.
