The Loyaltees Awards highlight leading and innovative brands in the restaurant and retail industries. When it comes to incredible guest engagement strategies, this year's winners set a new standard of excellence. The four categories for 2018 are: Best Loyalty Launch, Best Early Adopter, and Marketing Innovation.

  • Winner: Peet's Coffee

    Best Restaurant Loyalty Launch, celebrating brands that have either launched their first loyalty program or revamped an existing loyalty program during 2017.

    Peet’s Coffee Brews Up 350% Increase in Members with Relaunch of Peetnik Rewards on Paytronix Platform.

    In early 2017, Peet’s Coffee moved its stored value and loyalty programs to the Paytronix platform. With a focus on the guest, cashier, and marketer, Peet’s opted for Paytronix’s robust, fault-proof SaaS platform because it can scale with Peet’s business and deliver an exceptional experience across its key users. Paytronix also developed and delivered, on-time, two custom mobile apps—one for iOS and one for Android -- enabling the guest to check in and pay with their Peet’s Card at the POS with one quick and easy scan, as well as earn points and redeem rewards.   • Winner: Yesway

    Best C-Store Loyalty Launch, celebrating brands that have either launched their first loyalty program or revamped an existing loyalty program during 2017.

    Yesway Drives 45.2% of Its Loyalty Members from the Pump to the Store

    Yesway management believed a loyalty program was critical to building relationships with customers and establishing the new brand. Marketing needed a guest engagement platform to identify, understand and communicate with customers. After a comprehensive review, Yesway Rewards was built from the ground up with Paytronix—and consequently, Yesway is better able to identify, understand and communicate with their guests to deliver direct messages with relevant offers drive nearly half of all loyalty customers from the pump to the store.

     
     
  • Winner: The Counter Custom Burgers

    Marketing Innovation, showcases strategies that successfully motivate customers to spend more with each visit or visit more frequently through a customer-centric marketing program.

    Paytronix-Powered Promo Boosts The Counter's Average Ticket by $5.

    Kahala Brands recently acquired up-and-coming burger franchise chain The Counter, which was running the Paytronix-powered Counterpoint loyalty program.  The marketing team launched a “Big Game” promotion to create excitement and engagement amongst the Counterpoint members, raise visits and spend to new heights, and demonstrate how the program benefits the brand to its franchisee community.

     
     
  • Winner: Captain D's

    Best Early Adopter, recognizing forward-thinking brands that are seeing results by leading the pack in new technology adoption.

    Captain D’s Increases Spend and Frequency 17 Percent with new Program Enrollment Feature: Text Back.

    To support a system-wide roll out of the new D’s Club loyalty program to all 533 restaurants in 21 states,Captain D’s asked Paytronix to create a text-to-join registration option that could be deployed at the point of sale. The new Text-back feature has tripled enrollment—enabling Captain Ds cashiers to simply request a phone number from guests, who then receive an immediate text asking for their email address, eliminating the need to go online to register.
