Synonyms and Similarities
To help neutralize some of the frustration, we’ve developed the new “Out of Stock” functionality. When enabled, this tool will help your guests find an item similar to their preference if it is out of stock.
Specifically, Out of Stock will generate new suggestions based on where their preferred item falls on the menu, specific keywords, and its ingredients. For example, a guest in a burger spot might find you’re out of tortilla chips and be presented with a variety of options such as traditional potato chips or Pita Chips for the association with “chips”, but also Cheetos for their corn content, or French fries because it qualifies as a side dish!
This provides guests with a streamlined path for updating orders, without requiring them to leave the checkout page.
*Feature only available to Online Ordering clients.
Shaken, not Stirred
We’ve made key adjustments to delivery in recent months, particularly to alcohol delivery. Now customers can get it delivered through DoorDash.
If you have experienced problems with customers ordering alcohol, you can now fix it by going to “Third Party Settings” in the Paytronix platform. From there, look for the “Alcohol Attestation form”. DoorDash will provide a PDF form for you to complete, and once it is electronically signed, you’re good to go! Your customers can then receive both alcohol and tobacco products through DoorDash. If you have more questions about how this works, take a look on DoorDash’s Alcohol Guidelines here.
*It is available for all clients with Delivery Integrations and Online Ordering through Paytronix
Food. Cibo. Nourriture. Nahrung. Comida.
When forging the guest experience, you are aiming to build meaningful relationships with customers across your entire base, not just those whose primary language is English.
We’re happy to say that as of April, your mobile experiences can now be implemented across multiple languages. Our localization capabilities are the first in the industry, and by modifying your in-app language and presentation, you can now drive revenue and build relationships with guests in the format most familiar to them.
The transition occurs for guests seamlessly, as the presenting language is based on the primary language of their mobile device, while other key aspects such as postal code, phone number and date formatting are pulled from their location. Currently, brands have access to seven languages including – French, Spanish, German and Italian. If you have questions about how to localize your app, check out our article on the Help Center.
*Feature is only available for clients utilizing the Next Gen Mobile App
Minor But Impactful Changes

- Enterprise level customers have seen expanded functionality to Campaign Builder supporting “Action-to-Load” capabilities, which will allow for optimized addition and elimination of campaigns on a national scale. You can read more about it on our Help Center.
- We have updated the Reports Center to React and Account Lookup to React capabilities with enhanced UI design and translation capabilities.
