Welcome to the second part of our Product Wrapup for the first half of 2025. If you’ve missed the first one, feel free to start there where we discuss some of the biggest changes to our loyalty and mobile offerings! Below, we’ll discuss a few of the recent innovations we’ve made to our online ordering.
Between January 1st and June 30th, our product team drafted nearly 30 iterations of release notes. Each entry ranges from debuting new products and features, to outlining bugfixes or small changes to the platform. We made it a priority to revamp the release notes and how information is shared. Each entry includes details of the changes and how they impact you!

Online Ordering
Among our highest priorities this year was to make sure that our Online Ordering capabilities met or exceeded parity with our competitors. While we’re continuing to add features that are significant to you and your guests, we’ve launched or updated several new capabilities that add or simplify processes. One of the places we thought this was particularly important was with Third Party vendors like DoorDash, UberEats and GrubHub that many of you rely on to recruit loyal customers.
Menu Optimization for Uber
Providing customers with a streamlined and optimized menu can be the difference between where and how customers order. For UberEats, we streamlined very large menu integration by enabling the reuse of option groups between items, even with minor differences like distinctive defaults. This improvement minimizes redundancy and aids in efficient menu management, especially for half-and-half toppings, by preventing the recreation of similar option groups.

Order with Google Redirect Integration
Changes to Order with Google early in 2025 enabled brands to choose their preferred ordering location. To accommodate the change on our side, we made sure Google's Order with Google will transition from processing orders directly to using a Redirect Integration. Paytronix now supports this new integration, which simplifies technical complexity, provides more control, and enhances user visibility on Google.

AI Cross Sell and Post Sell
Ever got to the checkout screen when ordering out and come across an upsell offer? Maybe a drink you didn’t realize you wanted, or a deal to get something at a discount? Us too.
This year we introduced AI and Post Sale Cross Sells, two tools designed to enhance your after-sale experience. These features offer dynamic suggestions of related products to customers immediately after a purchase decision. By leveraging both the context of the customer’s behavior and their immediate purchase, the tools provide tailored recommendations on the order confirmation page, promoting additional sales opportunities seamlessly within the checkout experience.

Catering
Once a service limited only to specific brands, catering has seen a growing presence in the modern hospitality brand’s repertoire. Launched just last quarter, we’ve already seen customers experience massive success with the new tool. If you’re a smaller brand with limited delivery capabilities we even support delivery service, through our partnership with EzCater and DoorDash. In addition to these fantastic tools, we also launched a plethora of unique capabilities such as the Guest Survey Responder, AI Out of Stock Suggester, ADA Compliance, and many, many more!
