The week of January 11th saw a grueling competition at the home offices of Paytronix Systems. For the second year in a row, the Paytronix staff was broken into teams, each fearlessly led by a Paytronix salesperson, and over three action-packed days, these teams battled through a decathlon of events ranging from the ridiculous to the sublime. Events tested institutional Paytronix knowledge, challenged athletic ability, and required a good sense of humor. By far, the most humorous event was the tiny bike relay - where team members rode a tiny bike around the circumference of the office in a timed relay.
For the second consecutive year, the team, led by west-coast salesperson, Eddie Ayala, was named the OlymPX champion! Congratulations to the whole team (affectionately known as the Pidgets): Eddie Ayala, Amanda Beltz, Mark Donnellan, Matt Czubacki, Regan Cerato, and Ross Mellgren. OlymPX Champion Eddie Ayala commented, "I felt good going into this competition. I knew with this stable of talent, the other salespeople were going to be on the ropes from the first event. I'm so proud of the effort by all the team members, and enjoyed placing this year's trophy in my trophy case - right next to last year's. I can't wait for next January!"
