Paytronix will soon be releasing version 9.1 of its software. We are pleased to announce some new Social Networking features. The first of these features is Facebook Connect which lets users login to their card account with their Facebook ID. This tool will help us link to a user's Facebook ID for future capabilities and simplify the login process for returning users. In addition, we are creating a suite of small applications that can be attached to a restaurant chain's Facebook page. With these applications a guest can register, check their balance and login to manage their account.

Also, new in V9.1 is the ability for a guest to choose how they wish to be rewarded. This can make it easier for a merchant to enhance their program with a series of product rewards and allow the guest to choose the reward that they value the most. By allowing the guest to participate in the process, you can increase their perceived value of your rewards without the lowest increase to your costs.

No, we haven't lost our minds. June is the time to get started thinking about plastic card reprints for the holiday season. As many of you know, as the date gets closer to the holidays, the timeline for card production expands. All of our current manufacturing partners are reporting turns from proof approval to shipment in the 3-4 week range (closer to 3 weeks). As we get closer to holiday - September/October this timeline will move out to up to 6 weeks. If you need any assistance with a holiday card order, please contact cards@paytronix.com. The team at Paytronix would be happy to help you.
